Nelson Pass

Nelson is celebrated as a visionary in the world of high-fidelity audio, earning the affectionate title of “the mayor” of premium home and studio power amplification. Nelson’s illustrious career includes founding the legendary Pass Labs, as well as his pivotal contributions to iconic companies like Threshold Electronics, ESS, Mobile Fidelity, Soundstream, Nakamichi, Telarc, and Adcom. Industry pundit Robert Harley once observed, “I can think of no other electronics designer with such a rich legacy.”

A physics graduate from the University of California and holder of seven audio technology patents, he spearheads product development for both Pass Labs and his niche project, First Watt. George Massenburg

George’s career spans over 45 years, during which he has contributed to more than 400 recordings, earning him four Grammy Awards, an ACM Record of the Year award, and the prestigious Technical Achievement Grammy. George is the only person to have won Grammy Awards for recordings and technical achievement.

A lifelong innovator, George is credited with inventing the parametric equalizer, a cornerstone of modern audio production. He founded George Massenburg Labs (GML), an audio electronics company that has pioneered innovative recording technologies based on his original designs. His contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous honors, including an honorary Doctorate of Music from Berklee College of Music and the Audio Engineering Society’s Gold Medal in 2008.

Jeff Riedmiller

Jeffrey Riedmiller serves as Vice President of Advanced Media Systems at Dolby Laboratories. With over 30 years of expertise spanning media research, technology development, and creative industries, Jeffrey has played a pivotal role in advancing key audio innovations, including Dolby Atmos immersive sound, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby AC-4.

As an inventor or co-inventor of 40 patent families in multimedia signal processing and advanced media systems, Jeffrey’s contributions have earned multiple Emmy Awards for groundbreaking achievements in dialogue-based loudness measurement, network-based audio coding, and compressed domain media processing. A Fellow of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) and a Member of the IEEE, he has published extensively across leading industry organizations such as AES, SMPTE, NCTA, and NAB.

Jennifer Hruska

Jennifer Hruska is a trailblazing musician, technology innovator, and entrepreneur. Her career began at Kurzweil Music Systems, where she played a pivotal role in designing the groundbreaking K2000 synthesizers alongside industry legends like Ray Kurzweil and Bob Moog. She then founded SONiVOX, a company that revolutionized music software with products used in professional audio and embedded in consumer devices by global brands like Google, Motorola, and Samsung.

After selling SONiVOX to inMusic Brands in 2011, Hruska served as Vice President of Software Engineering and Content Development, contributing to iconic brands such as Akai and M-Audio. Hruska is also a celebrated educator and artist. Her artistic achievements include performing with the experimental group D’Cuckoo, composing electro-acoustic music for theater, and creating over 30 software instruments. She is also Assistant Professor of Electronic Music at Berklee College of Music.

John Wallace

For 20 years, John contributed to Ford Motor Company’s evolution into alternative fuel vehicles. He served as President of Ford Microelectronics, advancing integrated circuit research, and later as Executive Director of the Ford THINK Group, where he drove breakthroughs in hybrid-electric, fuel cell, and battery-electric technologies. He later joined Xantrex Technology, a global leader in advanced power electronics, where he served as Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2008.

Earlier in his career, Wallace held influential roles at Texas Instruments and Intel, contributing to the development of groundbreaking microprocessor technologies. Beyond corporate leadership, Wallace has contributed his expertise to international clean energy initiatives, serving as Chief Technical Advisor to the China/UNDP Fuel Cell Bus Program.

Prior to joining Bose, John was an Operating Partner at Transom Capital, a private equity firm, where he provided executive leadership, serving as a board member and advisor for Loud Audio, parent company of iconic brands like Mackie Designs, EAW, and Martin Audio.

Previously, John was CEO of Blue Microphones, where he spearheaded the company’s expansion into the consumer electronics channel. Under his guidance, Blue Microphones achieved an impressive 25-fold revenue increase, culminating in two successful exits, including Logitech. Earlier in his career, John held leadership roles at TC Group | Americas, managing renowned brands such as TC Electronic, LabGruppen, Tannoy, Lake, and Dynaudio.
